Riverside One progress
This article shows some of the progress photos for the public realm works at Riverside One, Middlehaven. The completion on time of large areas of the Riverside One public realm which surround Middlesbrough College enabled the college to open as planned in early September.
Further works are in progress as shown in these photos and the project will culminate in the creating of a high quality and durable landscape that will stand the test of time.

Ironopolis-Tactile-Paving-Project
Riverside One has given rise to an industry first in its shared streetscape of Bridge Street East with a project dubbed the ‘Ironopolis Tactiles’.
Artists United Creatives have taken a standard issue guidance tactile paving slab and working with industry partners have combined function with heritage. A set of rare words linked to the history of the Middlehaven dockside area have been integrated into the tile design.
