Working in partnership, BioRegional Quintain and Crest Nicholson have been announced, by the London Development Agency, as the successful developers of One Gallions residential scheme at Gallions Park, London’s zero carbon exemplar scheme. The winning concept is designed to provide a sustainable lifestyle for residents, using the principles of ‘One Planet Living’ to provide a holistic, attractive and exciting new community.
The approach to be applied will significantly reduce carbon emissions and wider environmental impacts, through a host of measures such as renewable energy, energy efficient architecture, natural materials, as well as integrated waste management, on-site food growing and green transport measures such as car and cycle clubs. Working alongside housing association partner, Southern Housing Group, the winning bid is also designed to deliver a wide range of affordable homes.
